Call for the Hangai Prize International Contest for IASS2010 Shanghai Symposium

The eighth Hangai Prize will be given during the IASS annual symposium at Shanghai, 2010. All under thirty researchers, designers and engineers in the field of spatial structures are welcome to participate in the contest.

Conditions of Applicants

The age of the applicant should be under thirty at the end of the year, 2010.
The applicant should be the primary contributor of the research or the project to be presented.

The Prize

The winners will receive the Hangai Prize Medal, Certificate, application of reduced registration fee, accommodations at low price and one year free membership of the IASS. They will also have a special opportunities to present their contest papers/resumes during the symposium.
The applicant should be the primary contributor of the research or the project presented for the contest. The winners must attend the symposium and the awarding ceremony in order to be awarded the prize.

How to apply

Follow the regular process to submit the papers to the symposium. The full paper should be sent by June 30, 2010 to the symposium organizer.
Also send a "pdf" digital format contest paper/resume and the applicant's information to IASS Hangai Prize Committee through the HANGAI PRIZE APPLICATION PAGE by April 30, 2010. Be aware that the full-paper-dead-line of the Hangai Prize is much earlier than that of the symposium dead line.
